Happy Book Birthday, Science Comics: Robots and Drones!

That’s right, everyone! My newest book with amazing artist Jacob Chabot is now available pretty much everywhere books are sold. That means you can get it right now at your local book store, or visit my publisher’s site where they have links to a bunch of book sellers. A lot of libraries will have it too.

I just want to say thank you to my team at First Second, Dave, Gina, Mark, Calista, Robyn, Kiara, Andrew, Molly, Rob, John and Stephen for helping get this book published. Thank you to the incredible Jacob Chabot for bringing all my crazy ideas to life on the page. Thank you to our expert consultants James and Sabina, who answered all my tough questions. Finally, a huge thank you to all the librarians, teachers, and parents who help kids discover science through Science Comics.

Now, what are you waiting for there’s a whole book of robots to go read about, get to it!

DC Comics just released their solicitations for all their new comics in June and I am writing Green Arrow #41 with art by Matthew Clark and an awesome cover by Tyler Kirkham!

Cover by Tyler Kirkham

In my story, Ollie escorts a dangerous prisoner during transport for the Justice league, a prisoner he is specifically suited to guard, the dangerous Parasite!

Nothing could possibly go wrong… right? RIGHT?!?

Be sure to pre-order my awesome two-part story at your local comic shop to see what happens when Ollie gets in way over his head.

Be Well,
Mairghread

Hi Everyone!

Marvel just announced that season 3 of my show, “Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout!” will debut Sunday March 18th at 8:00 a.m. ET/PT on Disney XD and DisneyNOW with a special one-hour telecast!

Season 3 was a ton of fun to work on as a writer and a consulting producer. The Guardians are of course going to be getting into tons of trouble as they find themselves having to escape the clutches of the Collector.

Check out the full announcement here which includes a cool video and be sure to watch Sunday.
